James Harper

James “Jim” David Harper, 87, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on July 21, 2020. He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Riley and Allie Mae Harper on February 6, 1933.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife Nancy; all five of his siblings; and grandson, Jerrod Harper.

He is survived by two sons, Jamie (Shauna) Harper and John Harper; grandchildren, Tyler (Christina Dodds) Harper, Justin (Lindsay) Harper, Cheyanne Harper and Jacob Harper; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim established Harper Sheet Metal in 1963 and poured his heart into his business. In his younger days, he loved to rodeo. Jim liked bird and deer hunting. He enjoyed raising and training his bird dogs and spending time with the men at Funderburg Hunting Club.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
