James Fry
James Russell Fry, 89, of Maumelle, Arkansas, formerly of Diana, Texas, passed away June 19, 2016. He was born in Woodlawn, Texas to Clarence and Bertha Russell Fry and was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater.
Preceded in death by his parents and a son, James Ray Fry, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Juanita McKellar Fry; children, Paula Fulton of Boise, Idaho, Rusty S. Fry (Krissi) of Maumelle, Arkansas and Jeff S. Fry (Suzanne) of Longview, Texas; stepchildren, Bret Carroll of Shreveport, Louisiana and Tim Carroll of Diana, Texas; siblings, Doris Thornton and Janie Vonsenden, both of Longview, Texas and Jackie Smith (Bo) of Nashville, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle, officiated by Lynn Cook.
