James Flave Francis age 76 of Arkadelphia died at his home Monday, February 4, in the year of our Lord, 2008. He was born July 4, 1931, the son of Witt E. and Mamie Thompson Francis. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Mary McHughes Francis, his parents, two brothers, J. D. and R. W. Francis, two sisters Mary Jackson and Lola Fendley.
Survivors include three daughters, Karen Francis and Debbie Brown both of Arkadelphia and Jackie Garner of Amity, three grandchildren, Wade Garner and Brad and Kim Butler, and one great grandson, Taylor Garner, and one brother, Cliff Francis of Hot Springs.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, February 7, 2008, in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens near Arkadelphia with Rev. Charlie Williams officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday in Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Wade Garner and Brad Butler, Rickey and Dickey Francis and Gary and Larry Jackson.
