James Fenton

James Edgar Fenton, age 78 of Little Rock, passed away October 22, 2014 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on January 20, 1936 in Little Rock; he was the son of Charles Edgar Fenton and Mary Ruth Fenton.

Mr. Fenton was a retired diesel mechanic, having worked 17 years for Strickland and 14 years self-employed. James was of the Baptist faith, and his hobbies included fishing, cooking Family Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners and spending time with all of his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years Bonnie Fenton; children Chuck Fenton (Randy Martinez), Donnie Fenton (Wendy Danner), and Kathy Carrigan (Shannon); grandchildren Nichole Ussery (Jake), Brittany Fenton (Cameron Nalley), D.J. Fenton, Michael Garcia, Savannah Carrigan and Bailey Carrigan; two great-grandchildren Adrianna and Caleb; sisters Carolyn, Charlsie, Jeanette and Shirley; brothers Rudy, Tommy and Ronnie.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 6400 Mabelvale Pike, (one block west of 65th Street & University) Little Rock, Arkansas 72209.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2014 at Huson Funeral Home.
