Born on May 30, 1942, in Fultonham, Ohio, James was a resilient and tough individual, known for his kind and forgiving nature. He was a brave and hard-working man, always putting his family at the center of his life. With a great sense of humor and a touch of sass, James brought joy to those around him.

James is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Beth Eversole, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He is also survived by his son, James Eversole Jr, his daughter, Kim Lee, and his son, John Eversole. James was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Eversole. James enjoyed seeing his 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren learn and grow.

James served with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. During his 22 years of service, he held the position of Traffic Management Supervisor and was stationed in various locations, including Izmir, Turkey, South Korea, Las Vegas, Nevada, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Mountain Home, Idaho. He proudly served two tours in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery.

After retiring from the Air Force, James joined the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier in the eastern neighborhoods of Little Rock and took great pride in knowing those he served. He dedicated himself to his work until his retirement.
