James Davis Sr
James Hubert Davis Sr. age 89 of Arkadelphia died Thursday, September 6, 2007. He was born August 16, 1918, in Hot Spring County the son of Dennis and Adelia Boon Davis. He was retired manager of the Nowlin Furniture Store.
He is survived by his wife Bertha Buck Davis, one son James H. Davis Jr. of Arkadelphia, one daughter Patricia Sanderson of Austin, TX, one brother Joe Davis of Neosho, MO, three sisters, Nettie Buck and Clarice Syler both of Arkadelphia and Gladys Capps of Conroe, TX, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Saturday, September 8, 2007 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Richland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
