James Clements

James Donald (Don) Clements, age 75, passed away on November 8, 2018 in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Don was born in Kingsland, Arkansas to James William Clements and Mildred Varniece Creed Clements on January 25, 1943. He attended Dollarway High School where he served as class president. He graduated from A&M College (now UAM) with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education. Don served in the Army Reserves. He worked for Capitol Typewriter Agency in Pine Bluff for several years before starting his own business. Don was the owner of Clements Office Center for 30 years until his retirement in 2010. Don loved to hunt and fish and spend time at his cabin in Kingsland. He also loved his dogs.
Don is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by Louise Sorrows, his son Michael (Julie) Clements of Roland, his daughter Donna (Glen) Smith of White Hall and the mother of his children, Sharon Anderson Clements of Pine Bluff. He is survived by his sister Pauline (Laverl) Robinson of Star City, his grandchildren Drew Holland, Witt Clements, and Reagan Korban, and his nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in his name to the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd. Little Rock, AR, 72210.
