James Chesney
James Norman "Slim" Chesney, 83, of Cabot, Arkansas went to be with his Lord Thursday, October 24, 2013. He was a retired truck driver.
James is survived by two daughters, Rose Stone of North Little Rock and Sylvia Bolin and husband Michael of Hot Springs; two sons, Ricky Chesney of Ward and James L. Chesney and wife Kay of West Memphis; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Faye White of Conway and Bernice Camp of Blytheville. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-four years, Dorothy; two sons, Norman and Donnie; parents, Luther and Cora (Coleman) Chesney; one brother and six sisters.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Mulberry Cemetery. Arrangements by Westbrook Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
