James Charles Cash, age 69, of Amity, died, Wednesday, March 2, 2011. He was born on January 15, 1942 in Midway, the son of Herschel Cash and Pauline Thomasson Cash. He was married to Judy Bean on November 2, 1962. He is preceded in death by his father. He was a maintenance superintendent for over 40 years for Bean Lumber Company. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Sulphur Springs Lodge #100 in Amity and a member of the Eastern Star #396 of Glenwood. He is survived by his wife, Judy Cash of Amity; his mother, Pauline Cash of Amity; his son, Michael Cash of Little Rock; and his aunt, Peggy Adams of Amity. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Memorials may be made in his honor to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Arkansas Children's Hospital. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
