James Curtis Carter, 23, of Benton, Arkansas passed away February 8, 2019. He was born March 28, 1995 in Little Rock to Chester Ray and Ann (McClain) Carter.
James loved the Lord. He was a hard worker and worked in car detailing. He was a big jokester and enjoyed playing jokes on his family and friends. James had a mischievous grin-you were never sure what he was up to. Going to the lake to fish, swim, and jump off cliffs was his favorite thing to do. James also enjoyed listening to music. James was very close to his sister who is thirteen months older than him. Although he was younger, he was very protective of her and loved her dearly. James enjoyed spending time with his friends and was very fun to be around.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents: Curtis and Juanita Carter and James and Betty McClain.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Chester Ray and Ann Carter of Benton, Arkansas; sister, Cynthia Carter of Benton, Arkansas; special friends: Mallerie Pope, Courtney Hester, and Jason Bates; and many cousins, family members, and friends who love James and will miss him always.
