James Boyd
James David Boyd, 74, of Little Rock, was called to his eternal home on Tuesday, July 12, 2011. He was a loving husband and father and his greatest joy was his family. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and traveling. James was a very simple and gentle man.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth Boyd; daughter, Valerie Boyd of Little Rock; son, Michael Boyd and wife, Marv Ann, of Ft. Worth, Texas; sister, Nancy Whaley; brother, Lane Boyd and wife, Betty; nieces, Kay Barnett, Gayle Whaley and Patti Starnes; nephew, Todd Boyd.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
