James Ray Barrett age 62 of Point Cedar, AR died Sunday, April 10, 2011 in Little Rock. He was born in Bearden, AR June 19, 1948 the son of John and Nadine Nance Barrett. He was retired from the Georgia Pacific Plywood Plant, a veteran of the Vietnam War, and Associate Pastor of New Beginnings Outreach.
Survivors include his wife Judith Colby Barrett, two sons, Michael Barrett and his wife Pamela of Juliet, TN, James Barrett of Bismarck, one daughter, Dana Lambert of Bismarck, one brother, John Barrett and his wife Pat of Bearden, one sister, Ann Shaddock and her husband Leo of Sparkman, three grandchildren, Michael Barrett, Alisa Lambert and Chase Crider.
Graveside funeral services with Military Honors will be 2 PM Thursday April 14th in the White Oak Cemetery near Bearden with Brother Tim Jordan officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
