James Barnard

James Roy “JR” Barnard, 77, of Sheridan went to be with the Lord, December 23, 2019. He was born to the late Roy and Gladys Barnard on October 16, 1942 in Vilonia, Arkansas.

JR loved to hunt and fish. In his younger days, he enjoyed racing dirt track cars. He was a friend to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Barnard, sister Gladys Lorene Barnard, and a brother Gary Barnard.

JR is survived by his children, Randy Barnard and Patty Barnard; two brothers Thomas Barnard and Roy Barnard, Jr. and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2019, Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM.

A celebration of life will be Saturday at 10:00 AM also at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Harmony Cemetery, Sherwood.
