James Atkins

James O. Atkins, Jr., "Bobo", 64, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He was born in Little Rock to James O. and Faye Macon Atkins and was a member of St. John Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cynthia Atkins, he is survived by three brothers, Carlton Young, Patrick Atkins and Donald Atkins, all of Little Rock; and seven sisters, Linda Harris (James), Janet Wilson, Diana Williams, Sharon Atkins, Carla Atkins and Vicki Aday, all of Little Rock, and Constance Atkins of Benton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church at Roosevelt and South Main Streets, officiated by Rev. C. Dennis Edwards. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
