James Craig Atkins

James Craig Atkins, 62, of Bismarck, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

He was born January 15, 1961, in Hope, Arkansas, to Doris and Weaver Atkins.

Craig was a proud Army veteran.  He was highly proud to have served in Iraq.  He also ran many construction sites, and he could build anything.

He had a laugh and presence about him that would light up a room.

Craig is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of forty-five years, Rhonda Atkins; his daughter, Gina (Ryan) Barraclough of Bismarck; his son, Clay (Taylor) Atkins of Bismarck; his sister, Donna (Bo) McKee of Ashdown, Arkansas; his brother, Jackie (Virginia) of Hope and four beautiful grandchildren: Bradley Ross, Jasmine Atkins and Rayden and Haizley Barraclough.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at DeGray Lodge.
