James Andrew Curtis, 89, of Paron, Arkansas passed away February 11, 2021. He was born November 22, 1931 in Paron, Arkansas to the late Charles T. and Letha E. (DePriest) Curtis.
James proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Reynold’s Aluminum as a mechanical engineer. James was a kind man who loved the Lord and his family with all his heart and soul. Serving God, Family, and Country were values he held close in his heart. James was a member of Paron Northfork Baptist Church. He lived a good life.
Preceding James in death are his parents; first wife, Jessie McDonald Curtis; sister, Mae Coker; and two brothers: Hulon and Lindey Curtis.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Willie Jeff Rickard-Curtis of Paron, Arkansas; son, James Shannon Curtis and wife Carol of Bryant, Arkansas; daughters: Sharon Williams and Sandra Curtis both of Hot Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren: Zach Williams, Kristin Williams, and Preston Curtis; sister, Nina Blaylock of Paron, Arkansas; and many more family members and friends who love James and will miss him always.
Memorial service held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 20 at North Fork Missionary Baptist Church, 22160 AR-9, Paron, Arkansas 72122. Memorials may be made to Paron North Fork Baptist Church.
