Jagger Slade McCurdy

Jagger Slade McCurdy left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Jagger was born on January 7, 2014, the son of Glenn and Wendy McCurdy. He was the answer to their prayers, and they waited for his birth with joyful expectation. During his brief visit on earth, he enjoyed listening to music, cuddling with his soft toys, and being held close by his parents. He was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Haskell and Celie Wright and Pete and Ora Copeland. He is survived by his loving parents, Glenn and Wendy McCurdy of Kirby; his sister, Cadence, and three brothers, Lil' Glenn, Gavin and Bentley, all of Kirby; his grandparents, Fern and James Wehunt of Caddo Gap, Freddy Wright of Glenwood, Glenn McCurdy of Daisy and Sandy McCurdy of Santa Rosa, California; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 16, 2014, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Eric Wehunt and Bro. George Donaldson officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon, 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Interment will be in the Black Springs Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
