Jacob Wells

Jacob Cole Wells, 18, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away June 19, 2021, following complications with Type 1 Diabetes.  He was born November 25, 2002, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Jacob loved the Lord and was a member of New Life Church of God in Bauxite.  He looked forward to attending church services and especially enjoyed talking to Pastor Yancy and his wife Brenda, and Nadine. His church family loved Jacob unconditionally.  Jacob never met a stranger.  He had a beautiful smile that brightened everyone’s day.  One of his favorite hobbies was playing Pac Man.  Family was especially important to Jacob.  He was very diligent in helping his mother throughout her health issues.  Jacob had a fascination in learning how to fix things that were broken and liked to tinker with cars.  He dreamed of becoming an automotive mechanic.

Jacob was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Alveria Billiter; aunt, Diane Thomas; and uncle, Charles Rockwood.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Alejandro and Amber Beischel of Bauxite, Arkansas; brother, Barney “Allen” Wells, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; two sisters:  Sidney Wells and spouse Skylar Thompson and Madison Wells both of Bauxite, Arkansas; grandfather, Charles Edward Billiter; grandmothers: Joyce Nichols of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Cindy Pitts and husband Phillip of Star City, Arkansas; aunts:  Christy Johnson of Star City, Arkansas and Amanda Fils-Aime of Virginia; uncle. Eric Billiter of Star City, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who love Jacob and will miss him dearly.

Visitation held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 29 followed by funeral service, officiated by Bro. Yancy Duff, at 2:00 PM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
