Jackie Terrell McCallum, age 87, of Arkadelphia, passed away May 14, 2018. He was
born October 7, 1930, the son of Wriley and Lorene McCallum. Jack was a long time
resident of Clark County and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. For many years, he
shared his faith as a Deacon and adult Sunday School teacher. He loved to deer hunt,
work on his farm and grow a vegetable garden. Jack was a Navy veteran and served
during the Korean War. He worked for 32 years as an engineer for IBM. After retiring in
1987, he worked on his cattle and timber farm.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ruie Granger McCallum, his
grandson David Terrell McCallum and his brother Gary "Butch" McCallum.
Survivors are his son Robert McCallum and wife Diann of Arkadelphia; daughter Vicki Hedden and husband Terry of Fayetteville; sister Judy Fisher and brother-in-law Robert of Nashville, TN; step-brother Roger Wilson of Bismarck and step-brother Vance Wilson
and wife Patsy of Delight, AR.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Ruggles-Wilcox
Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia with Dr. Marvin Pate officiating. Visitation will be
prior to the service that day at 10:00 a.m. at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Burial will
be in the Degray Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Bunn, David Golden, Roy Ham, Brian Kirksey, Mike Leamons and Luke Leamons.

the Clark County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 735, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
