Jackie Matheny

Jackie Matheny, 80, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born June 28, 1931, at Memphis, Tennessee, to James and Effie (Baskin) Lavelle, and she died Sunday, February 19, 2012. She was a member of Cornerstone Assembly in Ward.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Jack Matheny; three sons, Gary Matheny of Ward, Michael Matheny of North Little Rock and Jack David Matheny of Cabot; one daughter, Darlene Newman of Cabot; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Buddy Lavelle of Tennessee; two sisters, Stella Smith of North Little Rock and Norma Lavelle of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, J. E. Lavelle, and one grandson, Scott Newman.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
