Jackie Maddox

Jackie Maddox, age 73 of Searcy, passed from this life on Friday, June 3, 2022 at his home. He was born March 23, 1949 at Searcy, Arkansas. He was a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service and Minister for the Liberty Baptist Church at Walker. Jackie was an avid Razorback fan, loved his family deeply and was a friend to everybody he knew. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Maddox; one daughter, Shannon Lynn Witcher and husband Chad of Cullman, Alabama; two sons, Roger Guy Maddox and wife Angela of McRae, Joshua Ryan Maddox of Searcy; seven grandchildren, Kylie Witcher, Kennedy Witcher, Maddie Witcher, Jon Luke Witcher, Skilar Maddox, Elijah Maddox, Caleb Ivy; three sisters, Janie Person and husband Bob of Searcy, Nancy Corley and husband Mike of Beebe, Toni Dale and husband Philip of Searcy; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Billie Guy Scott. Visitation is Monday, June 6, 2022 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral services will also be Monday at 2:00 pm at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery at McRae.
