Jackie Raeburn Howell, 82, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away December 28, 2017. He was born October 1, 1935 in Bristow, Oklahoma to the late Raymond L. and Bonnie L. Watson Howell.
Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked many years as an airplane pilot and was a proud member of the Lake Norrell Fire Department.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Bobby Howell and Burnell Howell; and sister, Mary Jane Harris.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of over twenty-five years, Barbara Howell of Alexander, Arkansas; four daughters: Jeannie Harris and husband Brad of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Jackie Hammett and husband Darren of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jerri Lee and husband Chris of San Springs, Oklahoma, Laura Reed of Little Rock; son, Jonathan Neal Reed and wife Beth of Conway, Arkansas; daughter, Laura Reed of Little Rock; grandchildren: Kathryn -Ann Reed, Jennifer Fritz and husband Brett, Jaime Anderson, Melissa Winans and husband Lance, Madison Lee, John Lueken, Reilly Reed, Brooks Reed, and Callan Hernandez; seven great-grandchildren; sister, DelMarie Gilbreath of Houston, Texas; and a host of extended family and friends who love Jack and will miss him always.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 6 at New Life Baptist Church, 10765 Samples Road, Alexander, Arkansas.
