Jackie Elain (Harper) Burnett, 54, of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007. She was a member of Graves Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Burnett was a teacher for 17 years, a member of ACTE Arkansas Career Technical Educators, Vocational Club Sponsor,
FCSA Fellowship of Christian Students and Athletes sponsor, Spirit team sponsor, Pathwise Mentor, homebound teacher and Wal-Mart teacher of the year for 2003 -2004.
?To my loving wife, words are inadequate to describe your worth. You were specially chosen and made by God to be my friend, my wife and my soul mate. Jackie, you were loved by so many and made everyone feel special. Your devotion and love has made me who I am.? Your loving husband, Dan.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Burnett of North Little Rock; daughter, Lisa Renee Dickey and husband, Mike of Arlington, Tennessee; son, Jon Michael Burnett of North Little Rock; father, Henry A. and wife, Helen Spencer Harper; four sisters, Geniece Franks of North Little Rock, Kathy Pflughoeft of Jacksonville, Sue Bledsoe of North Little Rock and Jane Buckley of Leesburg, Virginia; two brothers, Ben Harper of North Little Rock and W.H. ?Dub? Harper of Sherwood; one grandchild, Lucas Andrew Dickey and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tom Nell (Doyal) Harper and brother, Joe Tom Harper.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Ave., Little Rock, AR., 72203.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Maumelle Middle School. Burial will be at Sylvania Cemetery near Cabot. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
