Jackie Lynn Bryan

October 4, 1955 — March 11, 2025

Pearcy, AR

Jackie Lynn Bryan took a flight with angels to her heavenly mansion on Tuesday, March the 11th, 2025.

Jackie was a graduate of Bismarck High School, and later worked for Cotton Cordell's and National Rejectors. She married her husband, Douglas Bryan, on January 10, 1986, and spent the rest of her days loving him dearly.

"Jackie (Honey Bunny) AKA from Douglas E. Bryan, her soul mate that talked her into marriage after fifteen years of seeing her at various times and work places. He prayed to God that he would send him a girl like her when he was fifteen and she was sixteen.

Later in life, praying for a wife like her, God went into motion and by a miracle, God actually sent Jackie instead of just someone like her. It was divine how God directed the details to get Douglas' mother to attend the same church that Jackie and her mother, Ruby Grigsby, attended (Apostolic Faith Tabernacle on Amity Rd. The church was picked out by her pastor in Forrest City, Arkansas. Jackie and Ruby had to drive by Douglas mothers house every time they went to church. They eventually started giving Eloise Bryan, and Jeff Lynne rides to and from church.

One day, Douglas' mom wanted to introduce him to the woman that was giving them rides; it turns out, when Douglas came to the vehicle and looked inside, Jeff Lynne had hugged the driver; that turned out to be that woman he had been seeing for fifteen years and praying about. God is good."

She is preceded in death by her parents, William D. Stephens and Ruby Inona Rogers; her sister, Catherine Phillips; her brother, David Stephens; her son, Jeff Lynne Bryan; step father, Boyce Grigsby; as well as her late husband Doug Cheek.

Her survivors include her husband, Douglas Bryan; her sons, Doug (Jamie) Cheek, and Derek Cheek; grandchildren, Alex Cheek, Paxton Cheek, Sebastian Cheek; brothers, Bobby Stephens, Greg Dobyns, Vance Dobyns; sisters, Betty Ward, Gloria Haught, Glenda Walters, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
