Jack Stewart

Jack " Jackie" Robert Stewart, 66, of North Little Rock was born August 9, 1947 in Lonoke, Arkansas and peacefully passed away Wednesday October 30, 2013.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Ruth Stewart also of North Little Rock, three sisters Dollie Stricklin of North Little Rock, Nancy "Tootsie" Gore of North Little Rock, Wilma Dreher of Olmstead. He is survived by two sons Bruce Stewart of North Little Rock, Jack "Bo" Stewart Jr. and wife Kelly of Fayetteville; three grandchildren Caroline, Jackson and William Stewart; two brothers James Stewart of Cabot, Larry Stewart of Lancaster, Ohio and sister Patricia Engleman of Sedala, Missouri and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a countless number of friends.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having honorably served from 1966 to 1968 in the Army. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad and lived at his home on Scenic Hill in North Little Rock until his death.

He was a man with an enormous heart with many friends and admirers that he considered family. He never met a stranger. He was a great uncle, brother, father, grandfather, coach, and friend to many. During his life, he influenced and made a positive impact on many lives.

He was an avid Razorback fan.

His three grandkids were the absolute apple of his eye and he loved them dearly.

His true wealth was in his generous heart.
And what endless wealth he did have.

He will be truly missed by many. Forever loved and never forgotten.

A viewing will be held at the North Little Rock Funeral Home located at 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, AR on Monday November 4, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
