Jack Edward Schoemaker, 66, of Little Rock, passed away April 17, 2012. Born in Little Rock to Jack DeWitt and Mary Opal Crawford Schoemaker, he was co-owner of Sign-A-Rama. He was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church and of the Arkansas National Guard and Army Reserve.
Preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dianne Schoemaker; sons, Jack Edward Schoemaker II and David Allen Schoemaker and wife, Jennifer; stepmother, Edna Rives Schoemaker; sisters, Jill Stacy and husband, Felix, Joy Ort and husband, Roger, Jeri Streeter and husband, James, and Janice Daniell; grandchildren, Trista Long, Hailey Sherman, Skyler Schoemaker, Austin Schoemaker, Christopher Schoemaker and Emily Sherman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services will be Friday, April 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in Sherwood, officiated by Rev. David Bentley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Men's Club or the Day by Day Class at Winfield United Methodist Church.
