John Thomas "Jack" Hardman Jr. age 86, of Arkadelphia died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at his home. He was born February 20, 1922 in Fordyce, AR. Jack was a member of Second Baptist Church and a retired manager of Hardman Lumber Co. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Anna Pauline "Polly" Hardman.
Survivors are four daughters, Gail Murray of Mt. Home, AR, Sherry Grigsby of Hot Springs, AR, Jackie Hughes of Bismarck, AR, and Twyla Kunc of Oklahoma City, OK, one son, John Hardman of Arkadelphia, AR, eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, August 1, 2008 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 9:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Arkadelphia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
