Jack Goodson, 75, of Roland, passed away March 11, 2017. Born in Little Rock to Cab and Octa Goodson, he was a U. S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Chenal Valley Baptist Church, the Mary Williams Masonic Lodge and the Roland Masonic Lodge, and was a retired truck and tour bus driver.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Cab, Jr., Sam, Dick and Joe, and sisters, Ruth, Mildred and Carolyn, he is survived by his wife, Gladys King Goodson; sons, Joe Goodson (Kimberly) of Bryant, Steve Goodson (Melanie) of North Little Rock, Kevin Wilson (Andrea) and Mike Wilson (Christy), both of Bryant; brothers, Clay Goodson (Florence) of Houston, Arkansas and Truman Goodson of Little Rock; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Allen Morton. Jack will be laid to rest at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Roland Masonic Lodge.
