Jack “J.B.” Davis, 101, of Little Rock, passed away December 27, 2021. Born in Little Rock to Ralph M. Davis and Madelyne Stephenson Davis, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a firefighter for the city of Little Rock, the first to serve for fifty years, retiring as a District Chief.

He is survived by his daughters, Jackie March (Richard) and Patti Saucier (Mike); grandchildren, Christopher March (Jill), Elizabeth Buckwalter (Ryan) and Joshua Saucier (Lydia); great-grandchildren, Alex, Jack, Katie and Molly March, Madelyne Buckwalter, and Will and Lily Saucier; daughter-in-law, Kathy Thomas; nephew, Dwight Davis (Kris); nieces, Beth Pirkey and Barbara Bateman; great-nephew, Will Davis and great-niece, Marie Davis; stepsons, Hoyt Thomas and Earl Thomas; and a host of other family, friends and his family of firefighters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 54 years, Dottie Boydston Davis, brother, Ralph Davis (Martha); sister, Bette Bateman (Bill), grandson, Jeremy Saucier; and stepson, Charles Thomas (Jackie).
