Vernon "Jack" Brickey, 69 of Lonoke passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 in North Little Rock, he was born on June 6, 1942 in Beedeville, Arkansas and was the son of Farris Brickey and Ruby Richardson-Brickey.
Jack was a farmer, who will be remebered by his family and friends for being a simple, but very hard working man, who had many strong values in life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Haywood, Jim, and Herschel. Survivors include his wife Barbara Ellen Brickey; sons Jackie Brickey, Johnny Brickey and Lonnie Brickey; grandchildren Chris, Ashley, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Corey, and Hunter; a great-grandchild Adison; sisters Dean, Mary Lou, and Glenda; brothers David, Carl, Jimmy, and Joey.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Huson Funeral Home at 6400 Mabelvale Pike (one block west of 65th & University) Little Rock.
