J.B. "Tuffey" Underwood 80, of Roland, Arkansas passed away on October 11, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Centerville, Arkansas on July 8,1935. He was a retired driver from Arrow Coach Lines. He enjoyed his family, his church, Fellowship Tabernacle, his community, and a host of friends from the McDonalds Club. His favorite hobby was working cattle and going to the sale barn. It was always a "good" day when the Atlanta Braves won. J.B. loved people and was quick to help whomever was in need. He faithfully called, checked in on and visited his greats and grands most everyday.

J.B. was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Thelma Jo Priddy Underwood; son, Gary and wife, Vickie Underwood of Roland, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband, Wiley Simmons and Amanda and husband, Gregg Kristofik, both of Conway Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, River and Rylan Simmons, Caden and Ava Kristofik; three sisters, Betty Raney of Ola, Arkansas, Linda Gillham of Beebe, Arkansas, and Monnie Richards of West Helena, Arkansas; one brother, Jack Gist of Centerville, Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14 from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Tabernacle in Roland, followed by interment in Rainey Cemetery.
