J. Rutherford
J. B. Rutherford age 80 of Antoine died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in Hot Springs. He was born September 2, 1929 the son of the late Elijah and Lessie Craig Rutherford. He was a retired sawmill worker and a U. S. Army WWII veteran. One granddaughter, Megan Smith preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Wesley Rutherford and wife, Delores of Delight, AR; three daughters, Diana Fisher and husband, Michael of Arkadelphia, AR; Jan Almond and husband, Doug of Curtis, AR; Alice May and husband, Michael Francis of Arkadelphia, AR; one brother, Vernon Rutherford of Kingwood, TX; six sisters, Irene Dixon of Antoine, AR; Vernell Bledsoe of Magnolia, AR; Nina Price of Prescott, AR; Geneva Cash and Ruby Watkins both of Palestine, TX; Kathern Bennett of Elkhart, TX; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Antoine Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Rogers officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Kevin Hutcherson, Chance Fisher, Bubba Nash, Larry Dean Ligon, Michael Francis, Calvin Francis, Ricky Smith, Douglas Rutherford and Lonnie Vancamp. Honorary pallbearers will be Loyce Burchette, Adam Almond, Bryon Francis and Austin Hutcherson.
