Iva Lou Bernstein, 73, of Cabot, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008. She was a switchboard operator for Holiday Inn Hotel, a 1953 graduate of James Bowie High Scholl in Sims, Texas, a member of the VFW Auxiliary and M.O.C.A., Arkansas Retired Military Association and congregation of Temple B?Nai Israel.
She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Sherrill Bernstein of Jacksonville; son Nathan Bernstein (Tina) of Marion, Illinois; daughter Sharron Blanton (Jason) of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Cheryl (Walter) , Tosha (Anthony), of Jacksonville, Benjamin, Kenneth and Joshua of Marion, Illinois; great-grandchildren, Emily, Lezlie, Christopher, Gaven, Rayven and Aubri; sister, Betty Bruno of San Antonio, Texas, brothers; Carroll, Talent of Tularosa, New Mexico and James Talent of Paris, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Ben and Edna Elease Talent and a brother, Milton Talent.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 P.M. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
