Isaac Aaron "Sonny" Walker, Jr.

Isaac Aaron "Sonny" Walker, Jr., age 67, of Glenwood, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at his home. He was born on December 14, 1943 at Little Rock, the son of Isaac Aaron Walker, Sr. and Mary Jo Martin Walker. Along with his wife, Pat, he was a member of the Gates of Praise in Glenwood, and served as the backbone of a husband/wife ministry team. He was retired from the Glenwood Public School system. He is survived by his wife, Pat Walker of Glenwood; his son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Kris Walker; his grandson, Chase Walker; his brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Twila Walker, all of Malvern; three sisters-in-law, Edythe Phillips and Veda Breshears, both of Hot Springs, and Louise Johnson and her husband, Dickie, of Glenwood; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Brian Hill and Bro. Vernon Wehunt officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
