Irene Garland

Mrs. Irene Estelle Garland, 84, of Cabot, Arkansas died July 21, 2021, at Baptist Medical Center Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas at 12:33 p.m.

Irene was born on January 4, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Lonnie Dewey and Marlowe Estelle Beazley.  She married Roy Lee Garland February 26, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Mr. Garland died June 17, 2003.

Irene worked almost all her life.  She worked for Franklin Electric in Jacksonville and South Side Elementary of Cabot.

She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She was an avid NASCAR fan and loved watching races with her sons.

Survivors include her children, Richard Garland of Cabot, Marvin (Atha) Garland of Vilonia, Cheryl (Rob) Flor of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Greg Garland of Cabot; eight grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, two brothers, and two grandchildren.
