Irene Banaszak

Irene Banaszak of Marche joined her family with the Lord on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. She was born on April 15, 1927 to Edward and Antonia Banaszak. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cecelia Zakrzewski and three brothers, Alois, Edmond and Victor Banaszak. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Marche and was a member of the Rosary Sodality.
Irene was employed by Tuf-Nut, Ottenheimers and Koehler's Bakery. She spent many years as caregiver to her parents and her brother Alois.
She was a quiet, gentle woman and her family was her greatest joy. She never missed a family/friend get-together, always bringing her pineapple pie (or two). She will be greatly missed.
The family extends their gratitude for Irene's special caregivers: Maddie Ganaway, Candy and Jerry Ward and her family.
Visitation and Rosary will start at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2018, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
