Ira Hocut, 54 of North Little Rock passed away Monday, October 5, 2009. He was a 1972 graduate of Sylvan Hills; production manager for the Arkansas Times; was a deacon of Second Baptist Church, downtown Little Rock and a board member for the FASI (Families Are Special Inc.) organization.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carron Bain Hocut; daughter Joy Juanita Hocut, both of North Little Rock; brother, Michael and his wife Dianne, both of Springdale.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Hocut and Juanita Johnson; brother, Odell Hocut; stepfather Pat Johnson; and stepmother Jerri Hocut.

Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 222 East Eighth St. Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Second Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St, 758-1170.
