Iola Pearson
Iola Pearson, 89, of Heber Springs, passed away March 20, 2012. She was born in Bee Branch to Charley Hamilton and Dovie Ward Edwards, and was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Pearson, brothers, Claude, Cliff, Lamon, Earl, Henry and Dallas Edwards and sister, Corilla Sohn, she is survived by her daughters, Lou Ella Glenn and husband, John of Heber Springs, and Betty Rachel Moore and husband, David of Russellville; brother, Luke Edwards and his wife, Willamae; sister, Ella Belle Nicholson; eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, March 23 from 6-8 p.m., with services on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, 115 S. Broadview St., Greenbrier, officiated by Rev. Mike Lindley. Burial will follow the service at Union Hill Cemetery in Formosa (Van Buren County).
