Inez Cox

Inez H. Cox, of North Little Rock died Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was the daughter of Myrtle and Cleveland Hodges, born in Keo, Arkansas and was a life long resident of North Little Rock. She worked many years for Block Mortgage Company in Little Rock and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in North Little Rock.
Inez was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jean M. Cox; brother, Patrick Haywood Hodges, daughter, Joyce L. Grant; two grandchildren, Clay Harrell and Heather Renee Seaton. She is survived by her son, John Cox and wife, JoAnne, of Olive Branch, Mississippi; daughter, Crystal Burney and Jim Mago, of Clear Lake Shores, Texas; grandchildren, Shannon Gipson and husband, George, Greg Seaton and wife, Angela, Christopher Seaton and wife, Amie, Daniel Cox, and Katrina Cox Taylor and husband, Brad; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to her caregivers Flo Perkins, and the staff of Elmcroft of Sherwood.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to First Presbyterian Church, 201 West 4th Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday at Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
