Ina Phelps

Ina Nell Loomis Phelps of Arkadelphia passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at her home. She was born February 19, 1933, in San Antonio, Texas to Sidney Earl and Ollie Mae McGough Loomis. She was a member of Arkadelphia First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, enjoyed singing in the choir and participating in many mission groups. Ina also enjoyed Siamese cats, arts, and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth C. Phelps and her brother, Sidney Earl Loomis Jr.

Survivors are her sister, Midred Loomis and husband, Mickey; two sons, John R. Phelps (Terri Murray), Joseph E. Phelps (Veronica King); granddaughters, Crystal D. Phelps, Christina E. Jones, Jessica E. Phelps; great-grandson, Jackson S. Jones as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 8^th at First Baptist Church with services following at 2:00 PM with Will Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Okolona Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jason Fike, Jimmy Payne, Ray Jodon, Phil Shuffield, Alan Bishop and Randy Payne.
