Ila Blair

Ila Faye Blair of Beebe passed away November 8, 2011 at the age of 83. The sixth of ten children, she was born April 5, 1928 to Frank and Wilma (Davidson) McDonald in Oakman, Alabama. Faye was a devoted Christian and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many. She worked tirelessly as a real estate professional for over forty years and was a member of Beebe First Assembly of God Church.

Faye was preceded in death by her husbands Leon Looney and Donald Blair; sons Ralph Looney and Leon Looney Jr.; her parents and eight of her beloved siblings. She is survived by her son George (Rose) Looney of McRae; daughter Debby (Daryl) Jones of Beebe; twin brother John Ray McDonald of California; grandchildren Leon Pierce Looney III, Shane Looney, Antoinette Brackenridge, D.J. Jones, Darla Campbell, David Jones, Donny Looney, Deanna Jeffery and Kevin Looney; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11th at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral services being held Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
