Ida Southerland

Ida Faye “Sissy” (Lee) Southerland, age 75, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020.

Sissy is a member of McArthur Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Sissy has countless volunteer hours of service in her local churches through the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mattie Lee; brothers, Henry F. Lee, Huey P. Lee, Morris Lee and Sammy Lee; sisters, Myrtle Ann Hamilton, Madilyn Senn, Birtie Mae Shadwick and Virginia M. Swan.

Sissy is survived by her husband, Robert Lansford Southerland; daughter, Jennie Marie House (Gary); son, Robert Eugene Southerland (Ginger); sister, Marilynn Richardson; grandsons, Joshua Stephen Bryant and Micah Benjamin House (Jessica) and Blake Southerland; granddaughter, Sara Lindsay House; great-grandsons, Braylen Edward Neave, Jackson Cade Neave and Elijah Benjamin House.

The family would like to thank Cabot Nursing and Rehab and the staff for the extraordinary love and care provided over the last five years.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2020 at McArthur Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery.
