Ida Smith

Ida Marie (Goebel) Smith, age 78 of North Little Rock, passed away January 29th at Baptist Hospital (Springhill). She was born on September 7, 1936 in Paragould, Arkansas; she was the daughter of the late Leonard & Agnes Goebel.

Mrs. Smith was a retiree from the North Little Rock School District, Kroger, North Little Rock Boys and Girls Club.

Mrs. Smith loved to play bingo, crochet and many other activities. Most of all she loved people and her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joe W. Smith, daughter Juanita Marie Smith, sister Agnes Ligon.

Survivors include her children,Donna Parker of North Little Rock, Matthew (Bridgette) Smith of Austin, Arkansas, Darlene (Bill) Clinton of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Mark (Lisa) Smith of Bryant, Arkansas;

Grandchildren, Jennifer Sibert, Timmy (Sarah) Sibert, Kayla Smith, Lucas (Cheri) Smith, Morgan Waymack, Christopher Clinton, Sara Clinton, Shelby Clinton, Anna Smith, Nick Smith;

Great Grandchildren, Angel Crowley, Mathew Shadwick, Lily Wyatt, Caden Sibert, Allie Meyers, Diem Sibert, Levi Smith, Jaityn and Aubrey Trotter;

Sisters & Brothers, Jo Lampkins, Helen (Joe) Rogers, Phyllis Laramore, Jeanne Morris, Martha (Weldon) Williams , Leon (Renee) Maxwell , David (Rita) Goebel , Larry (Janet)Goebel, Adrian (Ann)Goebel and a host of brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephew.

She was a graduate of Oak Grove High School in Paragould, Arkansas .

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 at Little Rock National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home at 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
