Ida W. Ruleman, 94, of Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008. She was born March 30, 1914 to E. J. and Mary Olivia Raney Wilhite in Jefferson County on the banks of the Arkansas River. On October 28, 1933, she married Bill Allen who preceded her in death in 1958. She worked as an LPN at hospitals in Memphis, Tennessee and also did private nursing. Mrs. Ruleman was a Methodist and until recently, a resident of the Moore Building at Good Shepherd.
She is survived by her daughter, Dale A. Adcock; sister-in-law, Mabel Wilhite; grandson, Charles Allen Adcock; granddaughter, Michelle Adcock Place and husband, Kirk; great-granddaughters, Laura Place, Courtney Adcock; and great-grandson, Cody Adcock.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 23 at Trinity United Methodist Church, with Dr. Robin Moore officiating. A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, July 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the music program at Trinity United Methodist Church, Mississippi & Evergreen, Little Rock, AR 72207 or to one's favorite charity.
