Ida Mae Franklin

Ida Mae Franklin, age 79, of Amity, died Sunday, February 6, 2011. She was born on June 6, 1931 at Amity, the daughter of Charlie Knighten and Roxie McCormick Knighten. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Patricia Tolbert of Fort Smith, Billy and Diane Franklin of Oklahoma, Kathy and Jerry Linzy of Murfreesboro and Tommy and Debbie Franklin of Amity; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cleo Knighten of Missouri and Buddy Knighten of Hot springs; and one sister, Wanda Mae Rhinehart of Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in the Jones Cemetery at Amity with Bro. Steve Ashe and Bro. Ricky Garner officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
