Hubert Elliott

Hubert Allen Elliott, 82 of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on December 3, 2020 to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior.  He was born in Marianna, Arkansas on July 29, 1938 to Fred and Minnie Elliott. He was ordained in 1973 as a Baptist minister and a veteran of the United States Army.

Hubert is survived by his precious wife Therese of 61 years. Hubert is survived by one sister Freddie Gibbs and one brother James Lee Elliott, children, Ellinor Elliott Papan of Maumelle, Arkansas,  Edward “Doc” Elliott (Lisa) of Cabot, Arkansas, and David Elliott (Marian) of Atlanta, Georgia, Mike Elliott (Sandi) of Maumelle, Arkansas; grandchildren, Tyler Elliott, Kristin Baldwin (Alec), Justin Elliott (Brooke), Rilee Paige Elliott, Lance Elliott (Monica), and Jake Elliott; and his fur baby, Princess.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Gordon Elliott, Raymond Elliott, and Marjorie Kelley.

Hubert was a member of the American Legion and a Minister in the Southern Baptist Association. He was also a Mason. The family would like to thank his caregiver Sandra Clinton for her dedication and service and would also like to thank the VA for their care.

Services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with burial to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery .
