Howard Darr

Howard Wayne Darr, 79, of Searcy, Arkansas, died Monday, October 21, 2013. He served four years in U.S. Air Force serving as a hydraulics mechanic. He worked at Lockheed Aircraft where he worked on the Polaris Missile. He was a retired farmer and truck driver.
Wayne was a long-time resident of Elaine and Helena before moving to Searcy. He and his wife of fifty-six years, Rosa Lee Barnes Darr of Searcy, loved to travel in their R.V.
In addition to his wife, Wayne is survived by two daughters, Patricia Davis of Beebe and Brenda Davenport (Greg) of Cabot; one granddaughter, Mallory Davis of Beebe; one sister, Mary Schoolfield (Tommy) of Caraway; and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with graveside service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
