Howard L. Claghorn, 78, of Little Rock passed away Friday, June 6, 2008. He was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church, Local 155 Plumbers Union for 42 years and a Korean War veteran. He loved his cats and gran-dog, Bubba. His grandchildren lovingly called him ?Pa Pa?.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Verla Mae Claghorn; his daughter, Vicki Lee Rucker and husband, Jim of Scott; son, Ron Claghorn, of San Francisco, California; three grandchildren, James Rucker, Jr. and Renee of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Matt Rucker, of Scott and Natalie Claghorn, of San Francisco, California; and five brothers, Chester Claghorn, of New Mexico, James Claghorn, Jr., Eugene Bell, Kenneth Bell and Gary Bell, all of Little Rock.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice Home Care Inpatient Staff on Bowman Road.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Ballard officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
