Horace G. Bell

Horace G. Bell age 84, of Arkadelphia, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his home. He was born August 14, 1937 in Clark County to the late Loyal Bell and Myrtle Quillan Bell, who raised Horace and his brother, Norman and Doug Quillan,  by herself upon the passing of Mr. Loyal Bell. Horace was retired from Alcoa/Reynolds. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He loved to sing and was a member of the Voyager Quartet, and later The Bell Family Quartet.  

He was proceeded in death by his parents; two daughters, Vickie Edmondson and Kim Hopkins; one grandson, Jason Edmondson; and one brother, Norman Bell.   

Survivors are his wife, Jeane Bell; one son, Jerry Little (fiancé Vanessa) of McKinney, Texas; one daughter, Sandy Van Acker (Kevin) of Arkadelphia; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and several nephews.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Ray Franklin officiating.   Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday until service at the church.
