Honor Blount

Honor Marie Hughes Blount, 90, of Garner, Arkansas was born February 12, 1919, at McRae, Arkansas, to Dora Jane Willaby and James Henry Hughes, and she died October 15, 2009.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Blount; one son, Russell O'Neal; her parents; five sisters; one brother; three half-brothers; and one half-sister. She is survived by her children, Katheryn Smith of Garner, Carolyn Lee (John) of Heber Springs, Patsy William (Troy) of Crosby, Forest Blount (Patricia) of Garner, Peggy Henderson (John) of Bentonville, Dora Crisco (Bobby) of McRae, Rocky Blount (Louetta) of Joy; one brother, Carthel Hughes (Trannie) of Las Vegas, Nevada; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Garner Cemetery.
